How come they are not vegan, only vegetarian?

Be kind Kids and Adults Elderberry Immune Gummies are suitable for vegetarians but not vegans because the vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) is sourced from lanolin, a natural substance derived from sheep's wool. Lanolin is obtained from wool during the shearing process, without harming the sheep, which is why it is considered vegetarian. However, because it is animal-derived, products containing lanolin-sourced vitamin D3 are not suitable for a vegan diet.

My gummies have hard lumpy bits in them, what are they?

The hard, or lumpy bits you may notice in some gummies are small particles of pectin, a natural gelling agent that gives the gummies their chewy texture and helps them maintain their shape.This poses no health or safety risk and affects only a small number of products.
